Olympic level performance science for business leaders
The systems used to prepare athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympics, applied to founders, CEOs and executives. How you manage your biology decides how you perform.
About
Performance is biology.
Marin is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Australian Men's Water Polo Team and founder of Otion. He has prepared athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, three World Championships (2023, 2024 and 2025) and the 2022 World Cup.
Founders and executives break down in the same ways athletes do. Stress is biology, not a mindset problem. Ignore it and it shows up in your decisions, your energy and eventually your business.
The Australian team crosses more time zones than most nations. Marin built protocols around eye training, breathing and movement that cut recovery time, reduce illness and limit the performance drop that follows travel. He measures. He does not guess. He builds systems, not motivation.

Speaking topics
Sessions built for leaders
Each session is for founders, CEOs and executives who want practical content they can use that week. Not motivation. Systems.
- 01
Olympic athlete and corporate athlete
What a CEO and an Olympic water polo player have in common. Both perform under pressure. Both need recovery systems. Both break down without the right inputs. The session covers energy management, stress response and a performance routine that works.
- 02
Your HRV score is telling you something
Heart rate variability is a metric most executives have never heard of. This session covers what it measures, why it matters and five ways to improve it, starting that week.
- 03
The 1% protocol: daily habits Olympic athletes keep
Sleep, morning light, cold water, movement and hydration. These daily habits take under 30 minutes and add up over months.
- 04
Why fit CEOs make better decisions
The link between cardiovascular fitness, brain function and decision quality. Aerobic fitness is tied to thinking speed, emotional regulation and stress tolerance. Includes a simple protocol of three sessions a week.
- 05
Recovery is a strategy, not a reward
Treat recovery as part of the business. The same periodisation used in Olympic training, applied to an executive calendar. Sleep, active recovery and breathwork.
- 06
The nappuccino and other tools you can use today
A practical, interactive session. The coffee nap, a two minute stress reset and zone 2 cardio explained simply. Your audience leaves with things to try that afternoon.
- 07
Jet lag is a performance problem
The protocols Marin uses with the Australian team to cut recovery time and avoid illness after long haul travel: light exposure, sleep shifting, meal timing and supplements.
- 08
Beyond the bench press: training for real life
Most training programs miss. This session covers eye training, breathwork and movement patterning, the methods used with Olympic athletes, and how to programme training that carries over to work and life.
Sessions are education and coaching, not medical care. They do not diagnose conditions or replace advice from a qualified health professional.
